Organization

The Globelics Academy is organized under
the auspice of the Interim Scientific Board of Globelics. The

Local Organizing Committee

Globelics Academy will nowadays be organized biannually Tampere,
Finland and in Lisbon, Portugal. In 2008 and 2010 the Academy
will be organized in Tampere by TaSTI, University of Tampere.
In Lisbon Academy is jointly organized by the Centre for Innovation,
Technology and Policy Research, IN+, at Instituto Superior Técnico
(IST), Technical University of Lisbon and by the Instituto Superior
de Economia e Gestão (ISEG), the Economics and Business Administration
Institute, Technical University of Lisbon. The secretariat and
local coordination in Lisbon has included professor Rui Baptista
(IST), professor Manuel Mira Godinho (ISEG) and Cristina Oliveira
(IST). In Tampere research director Erkki Kaukonen, academic
coordinator Mika Raunio and senior researcher Mika Kautonen
from TaSTI (Unit for Science, Technology and Innovation Studies)
will be coordinating the Academy in cooperation with of the
Lisbon team.
